After allegedly being accused of domestic assault by his 21-year-old nephew, Ricky Martin may spend the next 50 years in prison.

It was disclosed earlier this month that a judge in Puerto Rico had issued a restraining order against the Latin music icon due to domestic abuse.

Martin's brother, Eric Martin, reportedly stated that the victim is Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, age 21, the singer's nephew.

If the accusations are confirmed, Martin could receive a sentence of 50 years in prison under Puerto Rico's incest statutes.

the complaint was lodged under Law 54, often known as the Domestic Abuse Prevention and Intervention Act, in an anonymous manner.

Martin and the person filing the complaint dated for seven months.

According to the report, the individual said that Martin didn't handle their breakup well and has at least three times loitered close to the petitioner's house.

Rebecca Drucker, Martin's former manager, sued him for $3 million earlier this month for unpaid commissions
