On Friday, Kodak Ballack was arrested by authorities for possessing 31 oxycodone pills.

Just south of Kodak's hometown in Florida's Fort Lauderdale, the arrest took place during a traffic stop.

Officials said the rapper, who was driving the purple Dodge Durango, was stopped after saying the window was dark in color.

Later it is also learned that the registration of that car has also expired.

When the Florida Highway Patrol troopers approached the car, they claim to have smelled marijuana.

Authorities allegedly discovered 31 oxycodone tablets and $74,960 after searching.

Kodak's lawyer Bradford Cohen tweeted in the morning that today we will rescue him and resolve the matter as soon as possible.

When the rapper was released from detention, he started discussing the incident on social media.

He also uploaded a video that was intended to look like a news story to make fun of his arrest.
