An ex-contestant from the reality TV show "Naked and Afraid" has passed away.
35-year-old Melanie Rauscher was discovered dead on July 17 at a residence in Arizona.

Her death's official reason is still unknown.
In addition to a spinoff series the following year, Ms. Rauscher participated in the 2017 season of the Discovery survival series "Naked and Afraid."
The news of her passing prompted Jeremy McCaa, her co-star, to write a touching Facebook message.
McCaw claimed that she entered my life in a way that he could not explain and that this led to an unfathomable friendship.
She was a courageous woman and a beautiful person, and I will always treasure our interactions.
