Stand-up comedian, actor, and author Jak Knight, who most recently co-created the Peacock series Bust Down, has passed away. He was 28.

Knight's family revealed his passing through an agency representative on Thursday night in Los Angeles. 

At this time, there is no release of more information, including the cause of death. 

The representative said that knight's fans ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.

Not only was Knight's career going well, but his star was rising. 

Knight collaborated with Jay on the HBO series Pause as well. with Sam Jay acting, writing, and serving as co-executive producer.

The Seattle-born Knight, now living in Los Angeles, just finished shooting Chelsea Peretti's feature directorial debut, First Time Female Director. 

He performed on a half-hour Netflix special that aired in 2018 as part of The Comedy Lineup series. 

He frequently toured the world with his stand-up act.
